DOOM Pendant Yellow Gold + Diamond + Ruby Third Eye

MF DOOM's mask, rendered in 14k yellow gold under full diamond pavé, with a genuine A-tier ruby set at the third eye.

The original was never precious. It began as a Gladiator replica — the mask Maximus wears in the 2000 film — spotted in a shop window in lower Manhattan and cut down so it could be worn rather than displayed. It was taken to chrome, and a single ruby was set into it. That object went on to become the most recognisable face in underground hip hop, and it was steel, paint and a stone.

This is that object made permanent.

The Build

Yellow gold warms the whole piece and moves it from replica toward relic — the reading is closer to an artefact than to a copy of a prop. The face is modelled in full relief rather than stamped from a flat profile: the brow ridge, the cheekbones and the horizontal grille across the mouth are each cut deep enough to hold shadow at pendant scale. That depth is where most tributes fail, flattening into a silhouette the moment they are reduced.

Diamond pavé is set to the contour of the face rather than across it, so the geometry stays legible from every angle instead of dissolving into an even field of light. The ruby sits at the brow, where it always was.
